Statement from Management

“At Deep Blue Sky we have built a business by providing innovative solutions to our clients’ commercial problems. The greatest problem we as a planet now face is the impact of our consumer behaviour and industrial development on our environment – a stark problem that requires practical and innovative solutions.

This statement will provide an honest overview of our impact on our local, national and global environment and set out our commitment to ensuring that:

• We minimise the environment impact of our day-today business activities
• We create a culture of sustainability within our company as a whole and within our employees
• We take steps to offset our environmental impact through recognised activities

We recognise that business has its part to play in minimising our impact on the environment and will take all practical steps to ensuring we become part of the solution, not part of the problem”

Our Impact on the environment

We recognise that as a company we impact on the environment in the following ways:

• Use of energy for heating, lighting and consumables for our own account and that of our clients
• Use of suppliers and their attendant carbon footprint

Practical Steps

Deep Blue Sky will – effective immediately - take the following steps to begin minimising our impact upon the environment:

• Use energy saving light bulbs to light our offices
• Minimise waste and recycle within the office
• Utilise technology to minimise our carbon footprint through public and private transport
• Ensure that all computers are turned off when not in use

Our Future Commitment

We also undertake that by July 1st, 2010 we will take the following steps:

• Undertake an audit of suppliers to ensure that we only use companies that have taken real steps towards minimising their environmental impact
• To carry out an internal audit to discover our environmental impact in the form our Carbon footprint
• To engage with a Carbon Offset project or supplier to completely offset our Carbon Footprint

By following these steps we hope to take responsibility for our environmental impact – and take real and positive steps to ensure that we are, and will remain, and carbon neutral company.
